Growing Demand for Peanuts at the Georgia Peanut Farm Show

The National Peanut Board (NPB) was thrilled to be part of the 49th Annual Georgia Peanut Farm Show and Conference, held January 14–15, 2026, at the University of Georgia Tifton Campus Conference Center. With more than 1,800 attendees, the event was buzzing with excitement and provided the perfect opportunity for NPB to connect face-to-face with peanut growers and industry partners who fuel the future of peanuts.

NPB made a big splash with a center-stage booth alongside the Georgia Peanut Commission’s main tent (home of the fan-favorite grilled peanut butter sandwiches, as good as they sound!). Attendees explored 2025 promotions highlight videos, interactive allergy-awareness activities through Little Peanut, and snagged plenty of popular NPB merch. The booth also sparked early excitement around NPB’s “One Brand, One Industry” vision, including a sneak peek at the upcoming “It’s Not Nuts. It’s Peanuts.” brand launch coming this April.

During the luncheon, industry growers and partners were honored with several career awards celebrating their contributions to the peanut industry. Adding to the energy, NPB’s own Chris Fitzgerald took the stage to share a clear and motivating message: NPB is committed to supporting 7,000 U.S. peanut farming families, driving consumer demand, advancing efforts to eradicate peanut allergies, while championing U.S. peanut farmers through continued investments that strengthen peanut quality and increase yields.

From meaningful conversations to big-picture momentum, NPB loved engaging with growers in person and is excited to keep building energy for peanuts at upcoming industry events. The future is bright…and delicious!
